Taylor X Calvin Klein Capturing Light and Creativity: A Bedroom Photoshoot Story

I am always inspired and thankful for those who jump into creating with me even when my thought is simple. I knew that I wanted to create at 4pm in my bedroom to catch the light that floods in. I usually take a photo of the space throughout the week because I love the way the light dances in the space. I decided it was time to place a person in the room and create. Taylor and I create often together. Sometimes we spend a few hours together and sometimes we keep it short and sweet. I gave her direction on wardrobe and expressed that I wanted a more natural feel overall but also a little twist which is where the tights came into play. It’s a subtle way of adding something unique to the frame. Of course Calvin Klein is a good classic brand to tie into a laid back bedroom shoot.

I also hadn’t created a couple weeks and my brain was craving a photo shoot. Behind the camera is where I feel inspired, I feel like I am doing what I was created to do - seeing the world though my lens. Although I can become uninspired and my camera is set to the side for too long at times, it’s where I always find myself back to. My camera is a tool that brings me back to life when I feel lost in this world.
